Silver Creek, Cassadaga Valley fall in High School Bowl
JAMESTOWN — Sherman Central School defeated Cassadaga Valley Central School 72-49 in a recent Media One High School Bowl match at Jamestown Community College.
In another match, Ellicottville Central School defeated Silver Creek Central School 85-33.
Kayla Yokom and David Maleski of Sherman and Alex Hunt and Jalee Evans of Ellicottville earned Player of the Match honors.
Sherman team members also included T.J. Watson and Taryn Palmatier.
Cassadaga Valley was represented by Emily Wakelee, Christopher Bacon, Nicholas Denslow, Rae Lessinger, Max Pingitore, Paige Zybert, and Jonathan Zybert.
Ellicottville team members included Adam Silvernail and Caleb Jennings.
Joe Mihaly, Brendan Randall, Kelson Laska, and Summer Frew competed for Frewsburg.
The Silver Creek team included Curtis Comello, Ella Monaco, Bailey Wartroba, Alina Beadle, Cindy Schwab, Tesa Karcz, Kylie Procknal, and Ella Van rensselaer.
High School Bowl, now in its 59th year, is produced by Media One Group in cooperation with JCC.
